Hyderabad: In a thrilling IPL encounter on Sunday, Shubman Gill, the captain of Gujarat Titans, won the toss and chose to bowl first against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The Titans made a strategic change by including off-spin all-rounder Washington Sundar, who replaced pacer Arshad Khan, as Gill believed the black soil pitch would benefit spin bowlers.
This match marks Sundar's debut for the Gujarat Titans.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad made a single adjustment to their lineup, bringing in left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat to replace the ill Harshal Patel.
